The Taco Bell in Columbiana was torn down Tuesday to make way for a new Jack’s Family Restaurant.

Mayor Allan Lowe said the Jack’s should take 90 days to build once construction starts in February.

“It’s going to have a huge fireplace, a more robust menu, a larger parking lot. It’s just going to be a nice family restaurant,” said Lowe.

Jack’s is leasing the property on West College where the Taco Bell used to be until it closed earlier this month. Lowe said he didn’t know if the Taco Bell franchise planned to relocate in Columbiana.
