Funeral service for Mary Keller, age 84, of Calera, was Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with the Rev. Joe Raines and the Rev. Shelby Batson officiating. Burial was at Salem Cemetery.
Visitation was Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.
Mrs. Keller, who passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at a local hospital, was born July 28, 1924, in Calera.
Mary was a devout Christian all her life, most recently attending Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
She spent each day nurturing and serving her family, putting them before herself.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Dink Keller; her parents, Jack and Thelma Ozley; and her sisters, Sara Seal and Myrtle L. Ozley.
She is survived by her daughters, Beckie (Ruben) Hayes, Delia (the late Archie) Giles and Debbie (Wayne) Crowson; sister, June (Jack) Taff; seven grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one niece; and a host of other family and friends.
