Many students were recently awarded Trustees Scholarships to attend The University of West Alabama in Livingston.

The following students were awarded: Cody Hawthorne of Pelham earned $14,000. Hawthorne is a senior at Spain Park High School. Brandon Horton of Maylene earns $10,000. Horton is a senior at Shelby Academy. Jeremy R. Ikner of Alabaster was awarded $10,000. Ikner is a senior at Shelby Academy.
