Funeral service for Helen Adams, 81, of Coker, was Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with the Rev. Tim Tindle and the Rev. Ransey O’Daniel officiating. Burial followed at Ryans Crossing. Visitation was Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.
Mrs. Adams, who passed away Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at a hospice home, was born Sept. 16, 1927, in Straven.
She is survived by her children, Linda M. Hughes, Martha R. Walker, Dwight and Linda Wilson and LaJuana and Leonard Bailey; 11 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Pete Johnson; sisters, Mary Roman, Aetna Holsomback and Joan Johnson; and a host of other family and friends.
Special thanks to Hospice of West Alabama, residents of Glen Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dr. Margaret Morr, Dr. Anand Pandey and Mrs. Adams’ favorite nurses.
