Due to heavy rain Friday and a forecast of snow for the weekend, the Shelby County Speedway in Wilsonville has canceled Sunday’s open practice.

The practice was originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28, but was moved to Sunday earlier in the week.

The dirt track will host its season opener March 7. Gates will open at 2 p.m. Points season will begin March 14.
