Tornado sirens echoed throughout the Montevallo area this morning, forcing the Future Farmers of America to halt today’s Farm Day festivities at Montevallo High School.

Students visiting from Montevallo Elementary School rushed inside the high school building to take shelter from the rains. Keith Adair, FFA advisor, hopes the weather clears before Saturday’s community event.

“We have to just go with it,” Adair said. “You can’t do much about mother nature.”
