Funeral service for Betty Sue Amos, 73, of Alabaster was held Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Siluria Baptist Church in Siluria. Burial followed at Elliotsville Cemetery in Alabaster. Pastor Gary Jones officiated.
Amos, who passed away Feb. 23, 2009, in Birmingham, was a lifetime member of Siluria Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Amos.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Nancy Yachmetz, of Md.; son, Tony R. Amos, of Alabaster; step–son, Jimmy Amos (Angie), of Brierfield; brothers, Wayne Howell, of New Orleans, La., and William Howell, of Columbiana.
