Peggy Raybon

Mrs. Peggy Thompson Raybon, 70, a native of Pine Apple, and a resident of Selma, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Elkdale Baptist Church, Selma, officiated by the Rev. Micah Gandy and the Rev. Al Finch.
Graveside services were at Magnolia Cemetery in Greenville at 4 p.m.
Pallbearers were great-nephews: Matthew Dunnam, Timothy Dunnam, Derick Wright, Kerry Wright, Justin Dunnam and Seth Thomas Lindsey.
Mrs. Raybon was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mack Raybon.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John Kevin and Lynn Vinson Raybon of Montevallo; sister-in-law, Virginia Dunnam (Joe) of Linden; uncle, Leo Jones (Katherine) of Greenville; nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family received friends at Elkdale Baptist Church in Selma on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, from noon until service time.
The family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
