Berry Middle raising money for Heifer International

Berry Middle School eighth-graders are marketing student-designed T-shirts to raise at least $500 to buy a cow for a Heifer International family.

The cow would provide a family with milk and fertilizer, helping to enrich lives. If the Berry students can raise more money, they plan to buy other animals such as goats, rabbits or llamas for families.

The students have developed print advertisements and school television commercials for the T-shirts. They’ve also designed a Web site to advertise the project and T-shirt drive.
