Cahaba Valley Road is closed between the intersections of Eagle Crest Drive and Broken Bow Drive due to an accident involving an overturned vehicle.

The vehicle was carrying construction materials that scattered over the roadway, police said.

Shelby County Sheriff’s deputies and Alabama State Troopers are on the scene and expect to open the road by the end of the hour.
