Fourmile Baptist Church on Highway 61 in Wilsonville will host its fall festival on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 4-6 p.m. in the church’s fellowship hall. There will be fun games, contests and a different sort of trick-or-treating followed by a hot dog supper.

Alabaster AGLOW will host speaker Lillian Taylor, founder of the Holy of Holies Ministry at its November meeting on Nov. 13. Fellowship begins at 6:30 p.m. and worship begins at 7 p.m. The ministry will meet Dec. 11 and Jan. 8 as well.

Vincent Revival Center will host Southern Harmony’s 20th anniversary Sing (live video shoot) with the group Southern Harmony, the Evangel Temple Choir and Oasis on Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. The center is located on Highway 85 in Vincent. For information, call 672-7862.

The Christian Lighthouse in Saginaw will host a &uot;Time to Get it On&uot; revival with evangelist Shirley Hosmer on Nov. 5-7 at 7 p.m. each night.

Providence Baptist Church in Harpersville will have its fall festival Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. There will be lots of fun for children including cake walk, face painting, go fishing and more. Refreshments including hot dogs, drinks, hot chocolate, coffee and candy will be offered at no charge.

Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Alabaster will have its revival Nov. 3-7 at 6:30 p.m. each night. Guest speaker will be pastor Robert Smith of New Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit, Mich. Theme will be &uot;Walking with God, through it, in it, over it&uot; from II Tim. 2:1.

Pelham Church of God will have a dedication ceremony for the new sanctuary on Sunday, Nov. 2. Guests will be state overseer Merchoivich and other special guests. Morning service begins at 10:30 a.m.

Good Hope United Methodist Church, located in Columbiana, will have a yard and bake sale on Saturday, Nov. 8 beginning at 7 a.m., sponsored by the Good Hope ladies. For information, call 669-4284.

Union United Methodist Women will host a bazaar on Nov. 8 beginning at 7 a.m. with breakfast and continuing until noon. There will be a bake sale, homemade items, a country store and more. All proceeds go to missions. For information, call 678-9509.

Christ Church United Methodist will have its revival Nov. 2-5. At the 8:30 a.m. worship service on Nov. 2, the chancel choir will sing &uot;Standing on the Promises,&uot; arranged by Ruth Elaine Schram and Walter Knapp. At the 10:45 a.m. service, the youth choir will sing &uot;Better is One Day,&uot; &uot;These Hands&uot; and &uot;Jesus Draw Me Close.&uot;

At the 6:30 p.m. service on Nov. 2, the Pelham First Baptist Church Promise Keepers Choir will be featured.

Music for the Nov. 3 6:30 a.m. service will include Steve and Donna Downs from the First United Methodist Church in Guntersville.

A ladios trio from Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church will lead the worship music on Nov. 4 at 6:30 p.m.

The chancel choir will sing revival favorite, &uot;The Anchor Holds,&uot; with Ellis Hill as soloist on Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Chelsea Church of God will hold its annual fall festival on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. A buffet breakfast will be served from 8-10 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to noon. There will be baked goods, crafts, children’s activities, door prizes and much more.

Inverness Vineyard Church along with Bruno’s at Inverness Corners will host a community-wide Light the Night Carnival for the Inverness/Highway 280 area Oct. 31 from 6-9 p.m. Hot dogs, chili, chips, drinks and candy will be offered at no charge. Costumes are welcomed, and prizes and toys will be awarded. There will also be inflatable games and activities including a slide, obstacle course, power wheels track, moon bounce and radar pitch in addition to facepainting, a ring toss, tic-tac-toe, a cow milking can and firefly catching. Prospect Baptist Church in Westover will have a fall festival on Friday, Oct. 31 beginning at 6:30 p.m. This fellowship time will include games, hot dogs, treats and surprises. Call Gail Melton at 678-0189 for information.

Calera First United Methodist Church will have a Hallelujah Carnival, a fresh alternative to Halloween, on Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. in Oliver Park. There will be candy, games, prizes, moonwalks, clowns, hot dogs, popcorn, drinks and more. For information, call the church at 668-0951.

Montevallo First United Methodist Church will have a Halloween Carnival on Oct. 31 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. The church is seeking volunteers to help set up from 2:30-4 p.m. and work during the carnival. Also needed are 150 cupcakes. Call Elizabeth Haynie at 665-0388 to help.

Montevallo First United Methodist Church will offer a beginner aerobic class starting Nov. 4. The class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. Nursery will be provided. Cost is $30 for the six-week course. Call Mary Crawford at 665-9406 to sign up.

Lakeside Baptist Church will offer an evening of concert and conversation featuring gospel music legend Vestal Goodman on Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. There is no admission charge and the doors will open at 5:15 p.m.

Calera First United Methodist Women will host a rummage and bake sale on Nov. 14 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch will be $6.50 per plate and consist of turkey and dressing, green beans, rolls, pound cake, squash casserole, cranberry sauce and tea.

Camp Branch United Methodist Women will hold the annual spaghetti supper on Saturday, Nov. 27 from 5-7 p.m. The church is located south of Alabaster on Highway 26, just off Highway 31 South.

Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church Altar Sodality will present the sixth annual craft and vendor fair, Christmas in November, on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The church is located on Double Oak Lane at Caldwell Mill Road and Highway 119. There will be gifts from more than 30 vendors and craftsmen including ceramics, beads, jewelry, cosmetics, hand-made rosaries, clothing and accessories, collectibles, candles, home accents, gift baskets, home-baked goods and more. Hot dogs and pizza will be available to purchase during lunch and the parish cookbook will also be on sale.

Christ Church United Methodist will host October Bible Bash: Kingdom Treats and Treasures on Oct. 31 from 6-9 p.m. There will be indoor games, food, face painting, moonwalks, music, candy and more.
