Helena’s getting in the swing of spring with two notable community events in the month of April.

First, the Helena Elementary School PTO will host the 2009 Spring Fling from April 3-4, with midway rides, games, inflatables, food, vendors and a silent auction.

Then, the city of Helena and the Helena United Methodist Church will sponsor the citywide Easter Egg Hunt on April 11. The hunt will be held at Amphitheater Park in Old Town Helena.

There will actually be three hunts, all for different age groups. Arrive early to get children in the appropriate lines.
