Funeral service for Margaret Walden, age 86, of Columbiana, was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Good Hope UMC with Rev. Sam Harton officiating. Burial followed in Williams Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Walden, who passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2009, at a local nursing home, was born on Sept. 17, 1922 in May, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill (Willis) Walden.
She is survived by her children; Patti (Ray) Hamilton, Rhonda (Marty) Vickers, Linda Crenshaw; grandchildren, Angie, Amy, Drew, Caleb, Keaton, Sydney, Christopher, Stephanie; three great-grandchildren; step-children, Jim (Joyce) Walden; Sandy (Sam) Dill; sisters, Jackie (Gayland) Sandy, Fay (Willard) Frederick; brothers, Bob (Eleanor) Boaz, John (Lorene) Boaz and a host of other family and friends.
