Eclipse to observe Earth Hour

Eclipse Coffee and Books will switch off its lights for 60 minutes on Saturday, March 28 in observance of Earth Hour.

Owner Cheryl Patton said Eclipse’s Earth Hour will be from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Created by the World Wide Fund for Nature, Earth Hour is an annual international event that invites communities, businesses and governments to turn off their lights to combat global warning. Nearly 3,000 cities and towns in 84 countries have committed to the cause this year.

Eclipse is located at 1032 Main St. in Montevallo.
