Graveside service for Hoyt Verdell Green, age 77, of Childersburg, was at 11 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2009, at Pinelawn Gardens with Rev. William Rayfield officiating.
Mr. Green, who passed away on Friday, March 27, 2009, at his home, was born on February 25, 1932, in Shelby County.
He is survived by three children; Sebrena Green, Connie (Barry) Skinner, and Shelia (Steve) Horn; five grandchildren, Chase and Bailey Skinner and Ashley, Tyler, and Erin Horn; one sister, Ozay McLeroy; one brother, R. J. Green; and a host of other family and friends.
