Kevin Hubbard, a sixth–grade student at Oak Mountain Middle School, finished third at the State Geographic Bee on April 3.

Hubbard, son of Kathy and Philip Hubbard of Indian Springs, received a National Geographic Collegiate Atlas of the World and a $50 cash prize.
