The Alabama Community College Conference fast pitch softball tournament will be coming back to Alabaster this year as the tournament will be held May 2-5 at Veterans Park.

Thirteen teams will compete in the double-elimination tournament.

A banquet will be held for all the teams May 1 at Thompson Middle School at 6:30 p.m., while play will begin Saturday, May 2 at 10 a.m.

Sunday games will begin at noon, and the championship game will be held Tuesday, May 5 at 11 a.m.

“We are excited to host the ACCC fast pitch softball tournament again this year and look forward to hosting it for the next two years as well,” said Alabaster Mayor David Frings in a press release. “This tournament is just another incredible opportunity to showcase all that Alabaster has to offer. From our beautiful parks, variety of shops and restaurants — Alabaster is truly the place to be.”

Admission is $5 per day, while children under 6 and children wearing their youth league jerseys will be admitted for free.
