Calera 1 defeated the visiting Montevallo 10U Lil’ Devils, 11-10, Saturday. E. Clark took the mound for the Lil’ Devils in the first inning and delivered eight strikes, giving up only three runs.

With two on base, Clark slapped a hit between shortstop and second base that advanced the runners for two RBIs for the Devils. Clark then stole home for another score. Late in the game, L. Hamrick hit the mound for relief in the third inning delivering 11 strikes, 19 balls and gave up five runs. It was Hamrick’s first time to pitch.
