Both lanes at a section of Shelby County Road 13 in Helena is closed for repairs, said Capt. Tim Carter of the Helena Police Department.

The road is expected to reopen in three days, Carter said. Motorists should take County Road 93 as an alternate route.

Carter said a deteriorating drainage pipe located 1.8 miles south of the County Road 52 intersection is responsible for the road closing. The Shelby County Highway Department will oversee the repairs.
