Funeral service for Shirley Anne Glass, age 71, of Calera, will be Thursday, April 23, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel. Burial will follow in Moncrief Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2009, from 6-8 p.m.
Mrs. Glass, who passed away April 20, 2009, is preceded in death by her husband Y.Z. Glass; son, Jimmy Glass; sister, Patricia Morgan.
She is survived by her sons, Roger (Bernice) Glass, Jeff (Laura) Glass and Bryan (Cindy) Glass; daughter-in-law, Cindy Glass; brothers, Carey “Butch” Perkins and David Perkins; sisters, Judy Coker, Cathy Bandy and Gloria Wolfe; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
