Andy and Jon Erwin, founders of Erwin Brothers Productions in Calera, gained national recognition April 23 when they won a Dove Award for best short music video of the year.

The brothers won the award for the video they produced for the band Casting Crowns’ song “Slow Fade.” Footage in the video was all shot in the Birmingham area, something the brothers said they make a point of doing.
