Eric Gavin Hamby, of Sterrett, celebrated his 1st birthday April 5, 2009, at Oak Mountain State Park with family and friends. He is the son of Stephanie McAnally and David Hamby, both of Sterrett.

Eric is the grandson of Tammy Dunn of Sterrett, Jerry Hamby of Blountsville, Paul McAnally of Montevallo and Melia Garrison of Teas.

He is the great-grandson of Jo and Gene Bailey of Sterrett, Steve and Barbara McAnally of Clanton and Ray Sanford of Cullman.
