Funeral service for Jamie Goodwin, age 17, of Shelby, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2009, at Bolton Funeral Home with Pastor Blaine Davis officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, May 7, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Goodwin, who passed away Monday, May 4, 2009, in a car accident in Illinois, was born July 28, 1991, in Birmingham.
He is survived by his father, Glenn Goodwin; mother, Vickie Goodwin; sister, Andrea Goodwin; grandfathers, Maurice Goodwin and Jaime Cothorn; grandmothers, Brenda Carrol and Nadine Cothorn; aunts, Ann Garner, Jean Henderson, Debbie Gulledge and Aurelia Goodwin; uncles, Gene Goodwin, Dale Garner, Robert Parker and John Gulledge; cousins, Tom Goodwin, John Goodwin, Aaron Curiel, Alyssa Henderson, Jessica Parker, Robin Parker, Lindsey Garner, Joseph Garner and many other family members and friends.
