Joe Fulton

Joe Keith Fulton, age 56, of Pelham, went to be with the Lord on May 5, 2009. He graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1976 where he was a founding father of Sigma Nu fraternity. He was employed by Bodine, Inc. for 32 years. He was a longtime member of Helena United Methodist Church and a sports enthusiast of Pelham High School, UAB baseball, and The University of Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his father Walter Fulton Jr. and a niece Melissa Beth Fulmer.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Sally Fulton; daughters Kimberly Fulghum (Tim) and Allison Fulton and her fiancée Robert Brewster; mother Juanita Fulton; brother Charley Fulton (Deborah); sister Celeste Fulmer (Jeff) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, May 8, 2009, beginning at 1 p.m. with the services beginning at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Southern Heritage Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
