Funeral service for Connett Gardner, age 67, of Columbiana, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Shelby Church of God with the Rev. Paul McDonald officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Shelby Church of God.
Mrs. Gardner, who passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at her home, was born Sept. 8, 1941, in Oneonta, Ala.
She is preceded in death by her father, William Bellew.
She is survived by her husband, David Gardner; daughters, Anita (Earl) Garrett, Bobbie (Tim) Smith; grandchildren, Chasity (Chris) Selman, Charles (Jessica) Garrett, Christopher Castleberry, Connie (Drew) Davis, Cacy Smith; great grandchildren, Chase Davis, Catelynn Davis, Cheyanne Garrett; mother, Minnie Bellew; sisters, Jeannette Love, Fay Nell Eastridge and a host of other family and friends.
