Chelsea hosted Mountain Brook for a spring game Friday but was unable to stop the Spartan offense in the first quarter. Mountain Brook took a 20-0 lead early in the second quarter, but Chelsea added 10 points before varsity play ended in the third quarter.

Chelsea soccer goalkeeper Alex Levinson kicked a 36-yard field goal in the game, as he looks to come out for football for the first time this season.

Chelsea collected 150 yards on the ground and 103 through the air, while Mountain Brook had 79 yards passing and 262 yards on the ground.

Ben Craft was 7-of-10 passing for Chelsea for 85 yards. D.J. Washington carried the ball 13 times for 65 yards to lead the Hornets.
