Funeral service for Virginia Speer Brown, age 88, of Montevallo, was held Thursday, May 28, 299, at 2 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo. Burial followed in Pinelawn Cemetery, Columbiana. Visitation was held Wednesday, May 27, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Brown, who passed away May 25, 2009, in Alabaster, is survived by her daughter, Carol Virginia Brown of Montevallo; sons, Floyd Richard Miller of Oregon, James Alan Brown of Helena and Charles Thomas Brown of Montevallo; sister, Mary S. Goad of Peachtree City, Ga.; grandchildren, Justin Alan Brown and Lauren Shae Brown; great-grandchildren, Brant Christopher Brown and Zachary Donald Brown.
