Ward Bowman Bell, age 60, of Birmingham, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, May 24, 2009. Ward, who was a loving and caring father, is survived by his son and best friend, Nick Bell. He is also survived by his special and dear friend, Sonya Thomas and other family and friends. He will be deeply missed by those who love him. Ward was a member of Pleasant Site Baptist Church and a former member of North Park Baptist Church. He retired from the City of Mountain Brook as a computer tech with 25 years of service. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
