Funeral service for Terry Eugene Bass, age 69, of Maylene, was held Saturday, May 30, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo. The Rev. Tommy Bass and the Rev. Jeff Holsomback officiated. Burial followed at Macedonia Cemetery in Pea Ridge. Visitation was held Friday, May 29, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bass, who passed away May 27, 2009, in Alabaster, is preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Bass, son, Steven Bass and brother, Jimmy Bass.
He is survived by his companion, Gennie Yeager of Montevallo; daughter, Lori Bass of Maylene; sister, Linda Sue Bass of Georgia and brothers, Roger Bass of Georgia and Gerald Bass.
