Paul Z. Rogers was promoted to bank president at Red Mountain Bank.

Rogers will also continue as chief lending officer. Current bank president and CEO Mike Washburn will remain with Red Mountain Bank as chief executive officer.

Rogers began with Red Mountain Bank as executive vice president in 2004, while the bank was still in the planning stages.

Rogers, a 21-year banking veteran, has gained valuable banking experience with a number of Birmingham banks including SouthTrust Bank, Highland Bank and Heritage Bank prior to joining the initial management team at Red Mountain Bank.

Red Mountain Bank promotes a strong emphasis on involvement in the community by its team members, and Rogers epitomizes that commitment.

Most recently Rogers served as chairman of the board of the Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce and president of the Birmingham Tip-Off Club.

He and his family are very active in The Church of Brook Hills.
