Funeral service for Marie Turner, age 80, of Columbiana, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Bolton Funeral Home with the Rev. Carolyn Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Garden of Rest. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Turner, who passed away Monday, June 8, 2009, at a local hospital, was born Nov. 21, 1928, in Shelby County.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Deward Turner and a brother, Jim (Evelyn) Reynolds.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Jerry) Gray, Sandy (Glenn) Smith; grandchildren, Jerry Gray, Jr., Michael Gray, Steve and David Smith; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, W.J. (Mildred) Reynolds, Jr., Sam (Margie) Reynolds, David (Virginia) Reynolds; sisters, Sue McGuffie, Ruth Smart and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
