Jacob Forehand, a 2008 Pelham High School graduate, has completed his freshman year at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, where he attends on a debate scholarship.

Forehand and his debate partner, Matthew Brown, placed first at the Louisiana State University Parliamentary Debate Tournament and ninth place at the University of Houston National Parliamentary Debate Tournament. Forehand also came in seventh as the Best Speaker overall at the National Parliamentary Debate Tournament at the University of Houston.

Forehand is majoring in political science. Forehand is the son of Tommy and Martee Forehand and brother to Justin.
