Ruby McDonald Higginbotham

Ruby McDonald Higginbotham, age 88, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2009. She was born May 21, 1921, on the same property of her death in the Fourmile community near Columbiana.
Left to cherish her memories are her caregiving family, Shannon, Danny, and Haley Clark; nephew, Tommy McDonald (Sylvia); sister-in-law, Emmie McDonald, many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to express their appreciation to Comfort Care Hospice and the wonderful sitters who helped us through this difficult time.
Ruby was a retired accountant who volunteered with tireless enthusiasm at The Ministries Center for Shelby Baptist Churches in Columbiana from 1992-2006.
Visitation will be at Fourmile Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2009, until service time at 2 p.m. with interment at the church cemetery.
