Jewel Lee King Fulgham Grogan,87, of Calera passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center.
Mrs. Grogan was born in Alabama on June 7, 1922, the daughter to Mr. James Ernest King and Mrs. Mary Margaret Mize King. She retired from the retail clothing business as a sales clerk. She loved her family, loved her church and loved to travel.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 26, 2009, at Charter Funeral Home from 6–8 p.m. Memorial services were held at Roebuck Seventh Day Adventist Church at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009.
Her first husband, Jesse J. Fulghan, and her second husband, Marion Joseph Grogan, preceded Mrs. Grogan in death.
Survivors of Mrs. Grogan include her sons, Fred L. Fulghan of Pelham and Frank E. Fulgham (Doris Mathieson) of Simi Valley, Calif.; grandchildren, Jessica Beth Fulghan of Pelham, Amanda Marie Fulghan and Daniel F. Fulgham, both of Simi Valley CA.
