Sally Lee Pickard McCrorie, 63, of Birmingham, passed away on July 5, 2009 after a long and brave battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Don McCrorie; her mother, Margaret Pickard; her children, Tommy (Robin) Chambers, Debbie (Bart) Chandler, Liz (Brian) Sandifer and Brian (Amanda) Gaskins, all of Birmingham; a step-son, Donnie (Lani) McCrorie of Remlap; her brother, Fred (Alma) Pickard; a sister-in-law, Sandra Pickard; brother-in-laws, Harry (Dara) McCrorie and Tim McCrorie, all of Birmingham; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 5 nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis A. Pickard.
Sally worked for AT&T for 30 years. She retired from there in 2007 where she had many loving and caring co-workers.
Visitation and wake service will be on Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Funeral services will be on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church with interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
