Austin Allen Thames caught this 20 pound king mackerel on his first deep–sea fishing trip in Panama City, Fla. for his 11th birthday June 21.
Austin is the son of Jeff and Amy Thames and grandson of Lynn and Mary Lee and Bob and Sandra Thames, all of Alabaster. Austin attends Thompson Middle School.
