Funeral service for Sarah Isbell, age 66, of Shelby, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2009, at First Shelby Baptist Church with Rev. David Isbell officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Garden of Rest. Visitation will be Thursday from 6–8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Isbell, who passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at her home, was born on February 16, 1943 in Shelby. She is preceded in death by her mother, Odessa Hope; Daddy Cotton; and father, William Taylor.
She is survived by her husband, Arlin Isbell; children, Marty (Tammy) Taylor, Preston Blackerby, Glenda (Brian) Dutton, Cameron Isbell, Casey Isbell, Donna Temple, Paula Wilson, Edward Isbell, Jay Isbell and Emily Childs; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Julia Gannon; brother, William Taylor and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
