Dear Shelby County Community and Chamber Members,
We’re already in the final days of summer and things are really happening all over Shelby County!
We will learn more about the current economic development environment in the state of Alabama at our
monthly Chamber membership luncheon. This meeting is open to the public (reservations are required) and it
will be held on Wednesday, August 26th, at the Pelham Civic Complex.
Networking is the name of the game, and we have opportunities for you throughout the county. Come to C280, Focus and
Business After Hours, to make those all-important contacts for your business.
And speaking of networking, the Strategic Business Development committee is offering a social networking seminar on August
27th at the North Shelby Library. The workshop is open to members and the community. Wi-fi is available, so bring your
laptop for this hands-on, informative seminar about how to use social networking (Linked In, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) to further
enhance your business.
