The Def Leppard concert, also featuring Poison and Cheap Trick, scheduled for Aug. 11 at Verizon Wireless Music Center in Pelham has been postponed due to a band member’s bereavement, according to a statement on DefLeppard.com.

The band postponed concerts in Pelham and Nashville, and no further specifics concerning the matter are expected.

Ticket holders are asked to hold their tickets, pending further details of the concert’s rescheduling.

“We were looking forward to returning to Nashville and Birmingham,” said the band in a joint statement. “So we’re going to do all that we can to get back there soon.”
