Two By To Animal Rescue and the Molly and Max Pet Boutique in Vestavia hope local residents will enjoy digging their paws into heaping plates of spaghetti Aug. 22.

Molly and Max will host the Pasta for Puppies event to benefit Two By Two and the work it does.

“We encourage people to bring out their dogs,” Griffin said. “It’s a great way to socialize your dogs with people and with other dogs.”

The event will include a pasta dinner from Carrabba’s, deserts, wine and beer, live music, a silent auction, handmade jewelry and more.

Microchipping for pets will also be available from 1-8 p.m. The microchips cost pet owners $35. There is no appointment required and all the proceeds go back to Two By Two.

Molly & Max will also provide 10 percent of its proceeds throughout the day to the rescue organization.

Cost for the dinner is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
