Mr. Junior Scott, age 83, of Winder, Georgia died Aug. 11, 2009.
Born in Shannon, Ala., he was a son of the late Elisha, Sr. and Katie Freeman Scott. He was a retired Gutter and Roofing Contractor. Mr. Scott was a member of East Side Baptist Church.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 14, 2009 at Barrow Memorial Gardens with Mr. Jason Scott officiating.
The Family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 1000 Hurricane Shoals Road, N. E., D1200, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30043.
Surviving are wife, Elizabeth Ward Scott of Winder; son & daughter-in-law, Charles and Arlene Scott of Jasper, Georgia; grandchildren, Jason (Terry) Scott, Jarrod (Susan) Scott all of Winder; step-grandchildren, Jerri Forrester of Blairsville, Denise Stanley and Bobby McHan both of Covington; great-grandchildren, Jackson Scott, Will Scott, Spencer Scott, Jacob Scott, Gina Scott, Joanna Scott and Zachary Seabolt; brother, Charles Scott of Alabama; and sisters, Doris Peyton & Frances Scott both of Alabama, and Pearline Simmons of Tennessee.
Carter Funeral Home of Winder, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
