Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.) will host a public town hall meeting on health care tonight at 7 p.m. at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center in Birmingham.

The meeting will touch on the national health care debate.

“Democracy requires a fair and honest exchange of facts and truth. Democrats are blocking such exchanges,” Bachus said in a press release. “Democrats should not be surprised to see American citizens upset enough to spontaneously attend town hall meetings and make their feelings known.”

The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The conference center is located at 3660 Grandview Parkway.

Bachus is the U.S. Congressman for Alabama’s District 6, which includes Bibb, Chilton, Coosa, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair and Tuscaloosa counties.
