Funeral service for Robert Hardy, age 74, of Westover, will be at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at Bolton Funeral Home with Bro. David Wooten and Bro. Phillip Sessions officiating. Burial will follow at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
Mr. Hardy, who passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2009, at his home, was born on December 9, 1934 in Birmingham.
Mr. Hardy was retired from the Air Force with service of 35 years. He served our country in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hardy; daughters, Cynthia Williams, Tina Hardy; grandchildren, Justin, Jason, Erin Ree; brothers, Kenneth Hardy and Hugh Hardy; great grandchildren, Julian and Adrian and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
