Robert Earl Allred, 46, of Vincent passed away Sept. 1, 2009, at Coosa Valley Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 3 at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Childresburg Chapel. He will be buried at Harpersville Cemetery. The Rev. Stanley Bland and the Rev. William Rayfield will officiate.
Mr. Allred is survived by his wife, Rebecca S. Allred of Vincent; son, Dustin Earl Allred of Vincent; daughter, Brittne Lynn Puckett of Vincent; grandchildren, Abode Leigh Allred and Aven Glenn Puckett of Vincent; four brothers, Herbert Allred (Mary Ann) of Harpersville, Ottis Allred (Levee) of Childresburg, Wayne Allred of Wilsonville and Dennis Allred (Rita) of Harpersville; four sisters, Diane Malin (Lester) of Cullman, Kaye Robertson (Danny) of Childersburg, Tina Ingram (Phil) of Childersburg and Sharon Allred of Montevallo; and sister–in–law Merrita Allred of Vincent. He was preceded in death by his father amd mother, Edgar and Mamie Allred; brothers Cordie and Paul Allred.
Robert was an iron worker for many years. After becoming disabled, he became a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is a true believer in Christ. He was also a multi–published poetry author.
Pallbearers at the funeral will be Joanna Allred, Kristin Brannon, Preston Perrin, Erik Bailey, Ryan Kelow and Phillip Ingram.
