Mildred G. Clark, 85, passed away on Sept. 6, 2009, to begin a new chapter of her life with the Lord Jesus Christ, her precious husband, Alfred W. Clark Sr., her infant child, her parents, beloved brothers and sisters, and grandchild, Timothy W. Dunnaway, along with many nieces, nephews cousins, and her friends that preceded her in death.
Her love for God and life was undeniable. Her sparkling smile and loving eyes will not be forgotten. She always kept a positive attitude even at the lowest time in her life. Not only did she love her family, she loved her friends and always put everyone’s needs above her own. She is the true definition of a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. We are so thankful for the time that God allowed us to be with her. She will sincerely be missed by her sister, Orbie Smith; and brothers, Travis Hulsey and Eugene Hulsey and wife, Freida; son, Alfred W. Clark Jr. and wife, Janice; daughter, Elizabeth McMullins and husband, Larry; granddaughter, Donna Latham and husband, Mike; grandsons, Michael Dunnaway and fiance, Hillary; Jason Dunnaway and wife, Rachael; and Brandon Callahan, great-grandchildren; Peyton, Tucker, Jaycelyn and Noah Dunnaway and Kelsey, Chase and Jake Callahan.
Services will be held at Bolton Funeral Home in Columbiana. Funeral services are today, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m. Mrs. Clark will rest between her husband and grandson at Shelby Memory Gardens, Calera.
