Freshman Kaley Glover of the University of Montevallo women’s cross country team was named Peach Belt Conference runner of the week. This is the first PBC runner of the week honor for both Glover and the cross country team.

Glover, an Opelika native, had a ninth-place finish at the UAH Invitational. She was the top Division II runner in the field and led Montevallo to a fourth-place finish overall. Her 19:54 time in the 5K is among the top-five times in school history. In her two races at UM, both of her times are among the top-10 in school history. She is also the only PBC runner to have two times under the 20-minute mark in the 5K.
