James Bost

James V. Bost (Jim), 81, passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009.
He was the former owner of Alarm and Security Contractors Inc. Also, he was one of the founders of the Alabama Alarm Association.
He was a member of the Lay Lake Homeowners and Boat Owners Association.
Jim was a veteran of World War II, graduate of Ensley High School, attended Auburn University and was a former deacon in the Presbyterian Church.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer who had a wonderful sense of humor and never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Augusta W. Bost; daughters, Terry B. Dennis and Catherine B. Moore; grandchildren, Amanda Moore, Stephen Moore; brother, William P. Bost; and a host of other family and friends.
The visitation and funeral were held Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, at Columbiana United Methodist Church, 200 North Main Street, Columbiana.
Burial followed at Pinelawn Gardens in Columbiana. The family received friends at the church beginning at 1 p.m., with the funeral following at 2 p.m. at the church. Please sign online condolences at Boltonfuneralhome.com
