Oak Mountain Schools will pay tribute to the dedication, hard work and service provided to them by their school resource officers, Deputy Jerry Riggins, Deputy Diana du Cros and Deputy Rachel Ivey with a community recognition day.

The event will begin Friday, Oct. 23 with the officers visiting Inverness Elementary at 8:30 a.m., Oak Mountain Elementary at 9:30 a.m. and Oak Mountain Middle School at 11 a.m. Lunch will be provided at Oak Mountain High School at 12:15 p.m. School resource officers will then visit Oak Mountain Intermediate at 1:20 p.m., and then Oak Mountain High’s gym for a pep rally at 2:25 p.m.
