Kathryn Dean Hurt passed away early Monday morning, Sept. 28, 2009 after a short illness.
She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband, Avery Leon Hurt; two daughters, Phyllis Hammond (Jerry), and Elizabeth Hurt (Robert Jones); and four grandchildren, Joshua Hammond (Cami), Alison Williams (Ryan), Garth Jones, and Wil Jones.
She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Alexis Williams and Laiken Hammond.
She leaves behind two brothers and two sisters, Betty Dean, Faye McConatha, Jimmy Dean, and Terry Dean.
Services will be at Calera Baptist Church at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009.
We mourn her loss and celebrate her new life.
