Novelist Kathryn Cushman will celebrate the release of her new novel “Leaving Yesterday” with a book signing at The Amen Corner Bookstore in Pelham Oct. 17.

The signing will begin at 2:30 p.m.

“Leaving Yesterday” is the story of character Alisa Stewart coping with trying to rescue her son from addiction and the choices he’s made.

Cushman is a graduate of Samford University. She currently lives with her family in Santa Barbara, Calif.
